What will I do for 28 Days?
Everything in our life is moving through the stages of creation, sustenance and destruction. Through the wholistic framework of the koshas – the physical, mental, emotional, and energetic layers of the body – we will explore what we are ready to cultivate, what requires nourishment and what is ready to release. Rachel will guide you through asana, pranayama and guided meditation, to help you shed what you don’t need and focus on what you truly value.
How do I do it?
Each week we focus on one layer (kosha). Our weekly group practice will consist of asana, pranayama, and meditation. We’ll encourage you to spend some time each day with practices that support your individual journey. You will receive weekly teachings and contemplations to support you in your own inner housekeeping and daily practice. We’ll do an optional 4–14 day detoxifying cleanse.
What are Koshas?
The koshas (”layers” or “sheaths”) offer us a map to navigate the landscape of the self. First, we orient ourselves to the outermost layer of the physical body and move inwards, through each layer, accessing the deeper sheaths of subtle body towards the core of our being. Each week we introduce another layer into our study, awakening our yoga practice and purifying ourselves from the outside in: body, mind and soul.
What’s the Cleanse ?
We incorporate an optional 4–14 Day at-home Ayurvedic detox and digestive rejuvenation program and support each other through as a group.
