This 100-hour module will expand your knowledge of philosophy and the subtle body and help you integrate that knowledge into your teaching practice.
Increase your knowledge of yogic philosophy including the kleishas and Patanjali’s sutras
Deepen your experience of the subtle body including koshas, chakras, vayus, nadis, bandhas, pranayama and mantra
Study the effects of mindfulness practices on the mind, body and brain through current neuroscience and psychology
Bring both the eastern and western perspective into your teaching
Practicums & Mentorship (Thursday evenings)
Assess your teaching practice. Identify knowledge you would like to acquire and skills you would like to build and refine.
Practice integrating yogic philosophy and subtle body awareness into your teaching practice.
Work with a mentor and peers to create goals and action steps to grow as a teacher and student.
Each student will apply the material covered in this module to create an in-depth workshop.
This 100-Hour module can be taken to refresh your teaching skills, as continuing education or as 100-hours towards your 500-Hour Yoga Alliance Registration.
