Danielle began practicing yoga around age 16 as a complement to other activities like snowboarding, hiking and biking. After suffering a back injury in 2007, yoga helped her to rehabilitate from the injury both physically and mentally. Danielle completed her 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certification at WAY in Spring 2015. She loves to teach both Hatha and Vinyasa style classes and offers a practice that can accommodate any level of student, whether they are taking their first class or have been practicing for years. She enjoys helping students find a place for yoga in their lives and learn the value of taking time out to breathe and nurture themselves. Danielle trains and competes in mixed martial arts and loves how yoga can help keep the physical body healthy and prevent injury, while also keeping her mental energy elevated and her sense of self strong.
