MARIE DELANEY began practicing yoga in 2008 and completed a 200-hr certification in 2013 through Inbody Academy.  Her classes focus on finding your inner strength by encouraging students to bring breath and awareness into their bodies.  She sees yoga as a way of life- a path to self love, compassion and joy!

Marie spends her free time outdoors playing with her daughters, hiking, rock climbing, reading, eating delicious food and enjoying being a student of life.

What do you find most inspiring about being a yoga instructor?
I’m always inspired by my students. Watching their individual expression of their yoga practice and seeing them show up for themselves is beautiful and inspiring.

What is your favorite holiday?
I love Halloween! I always have! I like dressing up, carving pumpkins, scary movies and that fun spooky vibe around Halloween.

What do you appreciate most in your friends?
I appreciate honesty, kindness, compassion, empathy and a good sense of humor.

What advice would you give someone just beginning their yoga journey?
Everyone was a beginner at one point! Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Be patient and practice self compassion. BREATHE!

What is your favorite hike in Utah?
I love hiking The Narrows in Zion national park. Once you enter the water and turn that first corner, it is so beautiful and peaceful.
