Tuesdays Open Flow at 7:15 p.m.
Sara took yoga classes off and on for years to compliment her other activities but once she was able to have a regular practice she was soon inspired to get her 200-RYT and share the wonderful gift of yoga with others. The flowing moving meditation and self healing powers of yoga are what inspires her practice and her teaching. Sara is also the proud mother of two beautiful girls and loves hiking, sledding and camping with her two dogs Moki and Maggie and her husband, Kevyn.
Why have you chosen to teach at We Are Yoga?
Coming back to We Are Yoga is like coming back home, it is where I really began my yoga journey.
What is your favorite holiday and why?
Our wedding anniversary. We do whatever we want to celebrate it.
How has your life / body changed since becoming a practitioner of yoga?
I’m stronger. When I first started doing yoga, I could hardly stay in down dog. Now I can hold several different arm balances.
What is your most proud achievement?
What advice would you give someone just beginning on their yoga journey?
Don’t worry, we won’t make you be a pretzel on your first day.
Why should someone come to We Are Yoga to practice yoga?
It is a very welcoming environment.
What is your favorite hike in Utah?
Anywhere I can take my dogs, especially Millcreek, Neffs, any BLM land in Southern Utah.
