Join Heather, Lesha??and the We Are Yoga community, and dive deep into??the study of yoga and the foundations of teaching.

Module 1 includes a weekend immersion with Alexandria Crow??– October 26 – 28.

Module 1 is open to any committed students of yoga who wish to expand their knowledge and take their practice to the next level. Module 2 focuses on the skill of teaching yoga. Upon completion of the 200 hour program (Module 1 & 2) students will fulfill the requirements for Yoga Alliance Certification (RYT-200).

By limiting the size of our teacher training, we are able to incorporate personal mentorship which sets our program apart. We want you to grow in your practice and in your life!

The asanas only take you so far and having this kind of hands on experience is so valuable in beginning to expand your practice. ~ Dennis, graduated January 2016

Heather, Rachel and Wanna bring so much love and knowledge into their practice and teaching of yoga, that I became very inspired to learn how to share the gift of yoga with others. ~ Danielle, graduated May 2015

What if I??am unable to attend a portion of the scheduled training?
Depending on what was missed, content and hours can be made up by taking additional yoga classes or workshops at We Are Yoga, using mentoring hours to make up content, scheduling private sessions with the instructor at an additional cost (the instructor will try to condense the material so it may not take as long as scheduled for the group) or some combination of the above.

Can I take the Yoga Immersion (Module 1) now and the Teacher Training (Module 2) the next time it is offered?
Yes. You do not have to take the two modules during the same year however Module 1 needs to be taken prior to Module 2.

Will we be practicing yoga the entire time?
No. This Yoga Immersion & Teacher Training consists of yoga practice, lecture, meditation and practice teaching sessions. There are breaks between sessions throughout the day and a chance for students to ask questions of their teachers, mentors and fellow students.

Are payment plans or scholarships available?
Payment plans are available upon request. Contact the front desk at 801-419-0286 or [email protected] for more information.

“Going to yoga just for an exercise is great, but temporary. The 200-HR Teacher Training helped add the heart, mind, and soul to my practice which is so much more powerful and long-lasting. Incorporating pranayama, meditation, and asana has helped me with a lifestyle change. I???m calmer, more positive, and less reactionary. The instructors for this program are powerful mentors and such sweet souls. I loved learning how to create and share a safe space where everyone can connect with themselves and others while working with their practice.”

~Jessica, graduated December 2016

“WAY has put together an excellent staff for their Teacher Training. Rachel, Heather, and Wanna went beyond my expectations and I couldn???t be happier with them or with the knowledge I acquired throughout this training. They thoroughly and carefully taught a breadth of topics that it amazes me how much we were able to learn in 200 hours. I came home with the literature and resources I need to continue to read, learn, and grow.”

~Dennis, graduated January 2016

“I loved being a student in the teacher training program at We Are Yoga. Every aspect of our training was a personalized learning experience, that was tangible and practical. What I gained immediately from the modules presented was the ability and freedom to develop my own personal practice from a creative space within myself. After completing the training I now have the confidence to share yoga to new students, friends, and family. Investing the time in myself to come to each weekend intensive was very enriching. Our modern world often relies on technology and online classes, however, the practical experience of being with classmates was the most rewarding experience to me. Our teachers and mentors, Wanna, Heather, and Rachel are artists at teaching and sharing the beautiful gift of yoga.”

~Megan, graduated 2016

“I would recommend WAY’s YTT to any and everybody ready to delve deeply into yoga, in all of its forms. Within the support of a small group of teachers and students, I was given the tools I needed to grow in my practice as??student and teacher of yoga. Now, as a teacher myself, I still contact my YTT mentors for advice and insight. I now have a community that I can draw from whenever I need inspiration. I would do it again in a heartbeat!”

~Hannah, graduated May 2014

“The Yoga Teacher Training Program at We Are Yoga was a truly life changing experience. It helped me to dive deeper into my personal yoga practice while helping me learn to listen to myself, not only in yoga, but in all parts of my life. Over the course of the teacher training program, I found the courage and drive to create a positive shift in my life and follow my love for fitness training. I would absolutely recommend this program to anyone wanting to learn more about the history, practice and anatomy of yoga as well as the inner workings of our minds and energy bodies. Heather, Rachel and Wanna bring so much love and knowledge into their practice and teaching of yoga, that I became very inspired to learn how to share the gift of yoga with others. I am now teaching several yoga classes a week along with my other fitness classes and I am loving every day!”

~Danielle, graduated May 2015

“This program is designed with a sequential, thoughtful, and supportive curriculum. It encourages participants to develop a personal practice which benefits every aspect of daily life through asana, pranayama, and meditation. Heather, Rachel, and Wanna encourage each student to identify and teach what they love so that you draw from that authentic center and transmit your joy and passion in your classes. I would recommend the teacher training program to anyone who loves practicing yoga, regardless of their desire to teach after completion. Even if you choose not to teach, you gain a foundation for growth and personal practice. I am currently teaching one to two classes a week in addition to my professional career.”
