The Eight Limbs of Yoga: An Experiential Exploration

In Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra, the eightfold path is called ashtanga, which literally means “eight limbs” (ashta=eight, anga=limb). These eight steps act as guidelines for how to live a healthy and purposeful life. They offer us a framework for moral and ethical conduct, and help us reflect on the spiritual nature of our practice.
Through discussion, meditation, pranayama and asana, we will explore the eight limbs and consider how moving beyond asana can take our yoga practice to a deeper level. Join Rachel for this open level workshop.
