Depending on what was missed, content and hours can be made up by taking additional yoga classes or workshops at We Are Yoga, using mentoring hours to make up content, scheduling private sessions with the instructor at an additional cost (the instructor will try to condense the material so it may not take as long as scheduled for the group) or some combination of the above.

Are payment plans or scholarships available?
Payment plans are available upon request. Contact the front desk at 801-419-0286 or [email protected] for more information.

No, students do not need to take each module in order. Students can complete one or two modules now and finish the last module the next time the course is offered.

Students can also enroll in a single module. Each 100-hour module can be taken individually for continuing education credits. Upon completion of all three modules, students earn their RYT-300 making them eligible for RYT-500. See Yoga Alliance’s website for a complete list of requirements.

Can I take 100-hours now and another 100-hours the next time you offer the course?
Yes. Students can enroll in one module at a time. You can take one module now and another module next year.

Will we be practicing yoga the entire time?

What makes this training different from others?

Module??3: B E????T H E ????C H A N G E
Realize your dharma and transform it into action.

“Let the beauty you love be what you do.” ~??Rumi

This module is all about action. We will explore our unique dharma and consider how living and teaching yoga can support us in fulfilling that purpose. We will identify our own personal gifts and talents while gaining tangible skills to work with the populations that interest each one of us. Studies include personal exploration, asana, anatomy and specific techniques to work with special populations. This is a time to move beyond the constructs of the yoga studio and get creative about how, where and who we teach. Together we will develop skills to live and deliver the true impact of yoga, so we might both be the change and support that possibility in others.

Learning Objectives:

In this module you will clarify your role as a teacher, taking into consideration, your unique gifts, skills and passions. You will work with teachers who have particular skill sets in working with special populations in a variety of locations and who can guide you in exploring your own work in the world. You will consider how and where you teach, and how to reach any population of interest. You will work to refine your talents, clarify your goals and uncover your true purpose, so you might assist others to do the same.

*special topics and populations include but are not limited to trauma sensitive yoga, veterans, cancer, and diabetes

Dear Yogis

Welcome to the We Are Yoga 300-HR Advanced Yoga Teacher Training.

Perhaps you know yourself well. You have decided who you are, a person who does or doesn???t do such and such, someone who is ???good??? at teaching this and ???bad??? at doing that. We invite you to step back, look at the bigger picture of your practice, your teaching, and your life, and ask yourself: ??

How do I want to grow?

This question is the starting point for the??first module. Our focus is to hold a space for your growth as a yoga practitioner and a teacher of this art. We invite you to play your edges, touch discomfort and take risks. Our hope is that the small self, full of fear and unknowing, might just be willing to act in support of the Big Self, the self that took the step to join this training.

Your mind & body will be challenged as they are strengthened, and the spirit, more readily accessed. Our hope is that Yoga comes alive in each of you as a means to live more peacefully, abundantly and joyfully and that through this awakening, you become a voice and guide to assist others in the practice. We look forward to what will unfold in our time??together.
