Why have you chosen to teach at WAY?
It is one of the warmest, most welcoming, all inclusive studios I’ve ever stepped into.
What do you find most inspiring about being a yoga teacher?
The gift of witnessing a students’ a-ha! moments. It could be something very physical like a student finally connecting the pieces in a challenging pose. For example, watching someone get their first handstand. Or it could be a student sharing mental/emotional breakthrough. Often times they are one and the same.
What is your favorite holiday and why?
Halloween! The mystique of the holiday and fall as a season is intriguing. As nature goes dormant, creativity begins to bloom. With that said, I deeply appreciate a well done or clever costume.
What is your yoga teaching philosophy?
How can we make the seemingly unattainable attainable?
What is your most cherished family tradition?
It’s more of a ritual of never leaving the house without giving each other hugs and kisses and saying ‘I love you’. Even if it was just a trip to the store. For the possibility that those could be the last words ever spoken to one another.
